What an exciting and challenging way for all of us wannabees out there to live the dream! I mean I'm sure every 9- 5'er and surf rat has enviously looked on as the sponsored rats seem to score sick waves at exotic locations every second of their lives. Okay now I'm just exaggerating, but with most of us having a passion for this sport and lifestyle we lead, it would be nice to recieve some financial rewards at the end of the day. I mean how much is a wetsuit nowadays? ..."Here have a few for… Continue

Hi everyone....I trust you all had a good and safe Easter weekend.

I am about to end a 2700nm passage from Brazil to St Thomas in the Caribbean. Last surf I had was in the northern beaches of a city called Salvador in Bahia(Brazil). Its been 14 days and I am now itching to get in the water but the swell charts for this part of the world are looking dismal for the foreseeable future. Humanity, religion, adventure, integrity, sharing, giving, taking and the biggest one of all loving are just a few things in life that allow us to embark on such radical paths.
Life’s short journeys can lead you into some crazy situations, on one day you on top of the world going mental in indo and the next you six foot under. The experiences and adventures you choose to except and take apart of, are what’s going to determine your life’s purpose, and in a weird way a level of life… Continue

Autumn is here but where are the waves??? The South Coast banks are still in hiding from the march 2007 storms and June 2008 rains..... Only one or two spots are working but you have to be an unemployed millionaire to get on it and not work for a living... depressing times...
