looks like we are heading towards the end of this thing now. I just posted what is probably my last video. I am sure my wife will say thank goodness for that (listen on the latest vid and you might here here telling the dog to sit down next to her!!). While she never complained about all the filming it can't be fun sitting on the beach for an hour or more every weekend trying to keep track of which black spot I am. I'm very greatful for her effort.

This contest has been fun in a way, it really awakened the competitive spirit in me again and forced me to be less lazy and hit the water at every opportunity.

I might not have had epic waves in any videos or photos, but I think I posted some good stuff. In a wierd twist of events I hurt my neck this morning so my plans for a nice long bike ride and 2 hours of surfing at any 1 of the 10 spots on the coast (THAT WERE GOING OFF TODAY!) turned into a plan to take 2 myprodols and spend 4 hours in bed with 3 pillows under my neck! was hoping to get some real quality surf on video for the last day, but oh well!

I really enjoyed being part of this process and I was stoked to see all the video footage posted. Some of the waves are QUALITY! a bunch of lucky people out there to have the opportunities to surf such good waves.
